Made from lightweight Merino insulation, offering amazing warmth and protection using non-mulesed Merino. Unlike feather & down, Merino will still insulate even when wet, so you can stop worrying about the weather forecast. Packing down into its built-in stuff sack pocket, you'll stay warm and comfortable exploring the wilderness or on the trip to the shops.

Our jacket outer fabric is made from recycled GREENLON® Nylon - wasted yarn from the textile industry is manufactured into recycled chips, which then go through a spinning process to produce nylon recycled yarn. This outer fabric is then treated with a Durable Water Repellent coating (C0 DWR / PFC free) to give you further protection from the elements.

Almost perfect

I was unsure about this one but it has become a staple in my wardrobe.

Pros:
- Very lightweight
- Surprisingly warm
- Packs down fairly small

Cons:
- Weird shaping around the shoulders that makes it feel tight when reaching cross body despite having plenty of room overwise
- Comically long sleeves. If they’re supposed to go over your hands maybe add thumb loops?
- Several imperfections like untrimmed threads
- Packing pocket is narrow such that it’s a bit hard to stuff, and there’s no elastic or zip to keep it stuffed in. Just takes some practice to get used to.

Overall it’s a great piece that works well in a layering system.

Love the look

Really like this jacket. Perfect. Love the color. I sized up, so for me it fits a little larger, but I wanted to be able to wear a sweater under in colder weather. It feels like its a thin light weight jacket, but keeps you very warm. Kept me warm in our 30 Degree mornings.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear you love the style and warmth of the jacket.

Beautiful, simple design + Merino warmth!

I'm absolutely LOVING this jacket. The simple, exterior design has plenty to offer with 2 zipper pockets at the sides and 1 zipper pocket on the left upper sleeve. There are also 2 open-stash pockets inside the front of the jacket And while I immediately was drawn to the rich, beautiful colors of the Petrol/Orange, it's the Merino insulation that made me buy this jacket. I have so many jackets that are limited by their feather/down insulation if caught in a light rain and was excited to see this had merino insulation!! What a great concept! Now if I'm caught in a light drizzle, I'll still stay warm and somewhat dry vs having to stop and pull out a rain jacket. The sleeves are long, but this is much appreciated for this long-armed human, especially with outstretched arms on a bicycle. (Tip: the Merino 180 gloves pair nicely with this jacket!) I find myself also reaching for this jacket when I'm at home and there is a slight chill in the house. More bonuses: it's lightweight and easy to pack in bike panniers or motorbike luggage without taking up a lot of space!! Cheers to the design team for this jacket! Oh, and the logo!! Glad I joined your flock :-)

Thank you, Lisa, for the amazing review! The team were thrilled to read your comments, and we are so happy to hear that you seemingly love everything about the jacket.

Great Jacket, but....

I love the weight to warmth ratio. But one complaint: the sleeves are far too long! Even if it's designed so they can cover my hands, they're still too long. I'll make a plan to adjust them. Otherwise very happy.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, Susan.

It's great to hear that you are pleased with the overall performance of the jacket. However, we understand that the longer sleeves may not align with your personal preference. The extended sleeve length is a deliberate design choice aimed at providing extra warmth by keeping your wrists and even your hands cosy during colder weather. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

We are pleased to know that you are otherwise happy with the jacket. If you ever have any questions or require assistance, please feel free to get in touch.

Warm regards,

Fantastic Spring / Summer jacket

Love how light weight this jacket is and that you can pack it down into it's own pocket. At the moment I'm wearing it under my waterproof shell but once it gets warmer it can be worn on its own and will offer some rain protection (although I've not tested this yet). I'm a size 10 to 12 and I bought large. Usually I buy medium with my clothes but I wanted to be able to wear a fleece or jumper underneath the jacket so didn't want it to be too snug. The arms are very long - way too long for me but the elasticated wrists mean I can pull them up and because the material is all very thin and light weight it doesn't feel bulky. Although I don't think my arms are particularly short so Isobaa probably need to check their arm measurements for the jacket.

Thank you for your review, Jo!

We're glad to hear that you love the light weight and packability of this jacket. We designed it with this in mind, and we're happy to hear that it's working well for you.

Regarding the arm length, we intentionally made the sleeves longer to provide better protection against the cold. However, we appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration for future designs.

Thank you for choosing Isobaa!

Can the jacket be washed on a wool cycle?

Isobaa

Hi Kat,

The care instructions for the jacket have recently been updated to recommend delicate dry cleaning, as there have been occasional reports of damage from machine washing. While it is still possible to machine wash the jacket on a delicate wool cycle, please note that doing so would be at your own risk.

Hi,
How big is the L when packed down into its stuff sack pocket?

Isobaa

Hi Alexander,

Thanks for your question and apologies for the slow reply.

The size of the packable pocket bag for the jacket in L is ~ 32cm high by 16.5cm wide. It packs down into the pocket and is designed to be stowed away at the bottom of a pack when you're out and about.

Hopefully this helps!
