Mérinos Wool Blend Chaussons (Wine/Orange)

The pilling of the outer wool surface is most noticeable and disappointing, after less than one month of light wear. I am finding it difficult to understand why when there is no friction or rubbing occurring.
The size 42 I ordered is, regarding the width, a sloppy fit with inner sole, on my feet, lengthwise a better fit than the size 41, my husband gave for me as a Christmas gift. The size 41 fitted, lengthwise, only after I removed the inner sole.
I shall not be purchasing another pair. Prior 2 owning a pair of Isobaa, I possessed a pair of similar footwear which I wore for two years, there was no pilling at all throughout, the width and length fitting for my size 41 with comfortable inner (no inner sole) was perfect.

The slipper has not even lasted 2 months in a presentable condition. This is clearly a product design problem. Aesthetically it is very cool, but the wool compound frays leaving the slipper in bad condition in a short time.
Very disappointed with the purchase.

Love the quality, a solid slipper, nice colour as well. I gave it a star less because it comes up a bit small for size 39, unless I wear thin summer socks! However as they are for Winter I want to be able to wear thicker socks so will need to size up.

The trouble with shopping these days is balancing quality with budget. I took a chance on a company unfamiliar to me and I've been won over by my first product. The slippers temperate in their heat distribution - no sweaty feet, no frozen toes. The sole is firm and grippy (I would wear them out on the patio, but like a new car, I'm babying them). I purchased a EUR 44, whereas other shoes I usually fit a EUR 43. The extra size provides room for thicker socks when trying to lower the heating bill, but otherwise allow better circulation, which is important for self-efficiency. Take the plunge and treat yourself right.

My Isobaa slippers are very comfortable and warm .. Easy to walk around in with good grippy soles. I’m very pleased with them.

3rd pair. These were a gift for my husband and he loves them. Gorgeous colour, warm, comfortable and hard wearing.

I had to make a new order size 39 (my show size is 38 /5) and they fit perfectly. So glad they arrived before the very cold weather! The sole makes a huge difference to keep your feet warm. They are also quiet enough for our wooden floor. I love coming home to put them on :)

I gave these to my dad - he loves them. Not normally a slipper man, he is very happy in these!

I asked for these as a present to replace some lovely all-wool slippers from a different brand, after 3 years of heavy use had thinned the sole beyond wearability. Although I generally avoid polyester, the rubber sole on these seemed like a good idea for more versatility and I thought the added synthetic would at least mean a longer service life. After less than 2 months of wear they are horribly pilled and look shabby (the old slippers still look good after 3 years) and one of the insoles has become detached. These are an awful buy and extremely overpriced, would not recommend to anyone.

I want to love these slippers, but after buying these for my partner for Christmas, they are already pilling and looking quite tired and it isn't even the end of January. I have several other items of Isobaa clothing, and had high hopes for these slippers, but unfortunately they just don't look like they will last as long as we'd like. The colour is wonderful and they are very toasty, but unfortunately the amount of pilling already happening leaves me worried they will wear through before the end of the year, and they certainly don't look particularly glamorous anymore.

Very sturdy and qualitative. One remark though : the inner sole has already started to "bolt", making small threads of agglomerated fibers, due to friction from my feet. It's a common problem I've had with a lot of slippers and hoped to see solve with a product of this level of quality. So I'm a bit disappointed on that level. Otherwise, they're really great !

Good quality slippers, felt a little on the large side when they arrived (size 10), but have worn in perfectly. My wife ordered size 5 but they were too small.
