Great jacket but poor size guide

I chose my size, XL, using the size guide but the jacket is too big. I had removed the tags so can’t return even though I haven’t worn it out. Isobaa products are brilliant. I have 7 garments from them and have never had this issue.

Compact, warm and windproof jacket

This is the 5th Isobaa product I've bought, and all have been excellent. The company is a delight to buy from. From communication, packaging and goods, all first class.
Specifically about the jacket, it's easy to carry as it packs into its own pocket. It's very light, but managed to keep out the winds and cold of a west of Ireland beach out. It was surprisingly warm.

Useful light jacket

Good light jacket, colour was a lighter grey than showed on my ipad but its fine. Lots of pockets and most importantly the inside ones fit an OS map.

We apologise for any discrepancies in color representation, as screen displays can sometimes vary. We think the lifestyle shots should better represent the colour than the studio, mostly due to 'real world' lighting. It's great to know that the pockets can accommodate your OS map – not having that would be a real expedition mishap!

When packed into its pocket stuff sack, the jacket measures approximately 18 × 22 × 7cm.

Isobaa

The jacket is designed to keep you warm and comfortable in cool to cold conditions. Because it uses merino wool insulation, it works a little differently to down. It continues to insulate even when damp, and it regulates your body temperature more effectively.

It doesn’t have a temperature rating as such, and comfort will depend on activity level, layering, wind, and personal tolerance. In general, this jacket works well as a standalone outer layer in mild to cool conditions (around +2°C to +12°C) or as an insulating mid-layer under a shell when it’s colder.

The jacket should pack to roughly 18 x 22 x 7cm (size S). Please allow a little variance depending on the size.
