Melanie: Bikepacker, Merino Fan and All-round Adventurer

Melanie or @livingintents, as you might know her online, is part of our Isobaa Flock and a firm believer in keeping things simple, slow, and connected to the outdoors.

Melanie first got in touch with us when she needed some specialist kit for a huge trip across South America. Melanie, Luise and Blanka bikepacked their way from Patagonia, all the way to Colombia over six months, taking detours and solo adventures along the way. It turned out to be the perfect partnership for Merino.

After a successful first adventure with Isobaa in the pack, Melanie relies on Merino to keep her comfortable in all conditions. It’s breathable, warm when it needs to be, and doesn’t kick up a stink, even after a few days on the trail. She’s tested it properly, and it’s earned its place in her panniers.

You can keep updated with Melanie’s trips over on Instagram and through her blog living-in-tents.com, with honest reflections, gear tips, and glimpses into life outdoors. We’re always inspired by her approach: gentle, curious, and pushing comfort zones.
