#GreenFriday Tiny Forest, Earthwatch

We strongly believe that if you respect nature, nature rewards, and that's why we partnered with Earthwatch last Black Friday.

Earthwatch Europe are an international environmental charity whose main focus is connecting people with scientists worldwide to conduct environmental research and empowering them with the knowledge they need to help conserve the planet.

During our #GreenFriday promotional weekend, we offered customers 50% off all products and gave them the option of donating a portion of their discount to the Tiny Forest Project. With these contributions, we were able to raise an incredible £767.35 and with this, helped plant London Borough of Redbridge's first ever 'Tiny Forest' in South Park.

On 18th March 2021, over 600 trees were planted in South Park with a huge variety of species ranging from birch, to oak, to blackthorn. This Tiny Forest will act as an haven for wildlife, bringing people together in the outdoors.
Despite the trees only being planted in a space the same size of a tennis court (209mto be exact) with your donations we have helped to promote tree development by improving biodiversity, reducing flooding and storing carbon, whilst improving the surrounding air quality for the local community.

We all leave a footprint on the earth, all it takes is a little thought to make a difference. By recycling materials where we can, working with natural fibres and giving back to nature we can make sure our products have a lighter impact on our plant while still learning from nature. Keep your eyes and ewes peeled for our next #GreenFriday event and together everyday can be an adventure whilst conserving the planet.
